Hi everybody! I’ve made a number of changes, corrections and additions to [The People Pages](http://www.geocities.com/sdpeoplepages). First, I’m still in the process of verifying and correcting miscapitalized names - please bear with me. In addition, for the first 92 people (so far), plus a few throughout the rest of the list (particularly the newest additions), **you can now click on their picture and get their Straight Dope profile page!** I will continue to update the rest as I have time until they are all done. I’ve deleted a couple of people (one who sent her picture but never registered [at least she doesn’t seem to actually exist here **does anyone know Elke, or whether that’s her real name but she posts under a different handle?**] and one who was banned). I’ve also moved some people around. Persephone is now Persephone only and is placed in the “Ps” instead of the “Cs” for her former name, and Peta Tzunami & pldennison now each have their own pages (even though the pic is the same on both). Some people were out of order, so they’re now rearranged. Others may still need to be done - I’ll get to them as I can. It appears as though **the poster formerly known as Fonzarelli** has changed his username. Anyone know what it is now? I’d like to correct that, as well. Now for the **NEW stuff** … Added are: **Pipeliner** and **Tommy the Cat** (Welcome aboard!) Updated with a new pic is **Bluemonchichi** I have also added **4 new Group Gathering links** in the past week (2 of them yesterday). I’m very sorry I got your name wrong! My bad ☹ It is now corrected throughout, though. However, that means you’ll have to update your sig because the URL is now fonz.html instead of fonzarelli.html (I’m trying to keep the file names consistent with the usernames). Anyone else who has their picture linked in their sig line should probably check to see if it’s still a good link, too. I haven’t changed very many, but in some cases, for example, Girlbysea, I’ve found spacing errors which has caused changes in the url by removing or adding the underscores that represent those spaces. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes. ---

I just downloaded three more pics, one person of which wants both pictures uploaded. I prefer to work with a batch of 7 or more at a time because of my crappy internet connection. It’s easier for me to upload several pics than a few – oddly enough. Anyhow, send some more in people! ---

Nymysys, No problem. Where I have a problem is when people want more than two pics or send a collage (is that spelled right) because in order to fit those on the page and not have a huge download time I still have to shrink them to a manageable size. Also, sometimes the end result makes or breaks whether or not I feel comfortable with adding it to the page. Sometimes I need to crop the photos so we can get a realistic view of who the person is…I want you all looking your best! ---

I did a search for **Black12** and every result had no replies by that username, **but** , the one common username was (TaDa!) [Sea Sloth](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/member.php?action=getinfo&username=Sea+Sloth). Therefore, I believe that **Elke = Black12 = Sea Sloth**. Can anyone verify this? If that is indeed the case, she’s actively posting as of yesterday, so I’ll gladly reinstate her picture on the pages under the proper username. You were on my list to fix anyway, but I just hadn’t gotten to it yet. I will include that link in the next batch of updates. I’ve also gotten the one **monster** linked in the other thread that’s now closed, as well as 3 more Dallas Dopefests to include, as well. **Gunslinger** , I’m not sure where to look for one of those pics, but if you can provide a link, I’ll gladly ask permission to put it on the pages. 🙂 **Homer** , indeed, one of the pics that tc downloaded yesterday was yours from **Falcon** , so you’ll be in the next batch. **Nymysys** , we’ll gladly put 2 pics up for you. There are a few others who have 2 pics up as well, so it’s not a problem at all. **Crunchy** , I don’t recall if I’ve seen any pictures of you other than the funky jacket one (which I happen to like just fine). Submit both and I’ll see which one I like better in a side-by-side comparison, k hon? And you know me, I’ll be honest. 😉 **techie** , there are 4 more pictures waiting in the email for you to download and work on so I can create the pages for them. Yippee!
