All joking aside, this is a horrific story. Those children were, at least a goodly portion of them were, essentially tortured to death in the name of a religion. That religion said that their mothers were whores and the children were garbage who could be starved and experimented on because they had no value. Who could be thrown into a septic tank because they were already damned.
And it isn’t a one-off. This can’t be shrugged off as one kid, or one incident, or one rogue nun on a rampage. This was a cultural disregard for life, and it can’t be dressed up with any nice words about how souls are more important than bodies.

At the risk of hijacking, and depending what you mean by the “Nazi’s _own_ children”, the German Jewish children murdered by the Nazis were “their own”- they were generally fully integrated German families who never considered themselves anything but Germans who happened to be Jewish.
Now, if you meant the actual children of individual Nazi soldiers, then you’re probably right.

Then let me upend your couch, at least: SHUT THE FUCK UP. You’re making things worse for yourself, every fucking time you post. No explanation you could possibly give could make things better, so quit trying to give various stupid reasons why you did what you did. The only thing to say is, “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have done that, it was wrong.” Period. Full stop. That’s it. No, “my brain is messed up”, no, “I have bad luck with animals”, no “I’m bad with money”, not even, “I panicked”. Just that you fucked up. That’s it.
And I quite frankly, if your mind IS that fucked up, that you can’t be held responsible for your actions, then maybe you need more supervision on the internet? Or perhaps someone else should be in charge of your money?

I’ve been passing this thread by for days. My reasons seemed solid:
1. The title clearly indicates the topic is the dead babies found in Ireland, which I know about because it was on Drudge.
2. It’s started by BrainGlutton, who is notorious for recreational outrage threads with little content.
3. Dopers love to post page after page of RO about stuff like this, and it’s usually not very interesting.
I couldn’t have been more mistaken. Best. Thread. Ever.
Plus, someone is fucking with **Fenris**? Bad move. This reminds me of the scene in the Godfather where the landlord is talking shit to Vito Corleone and Vito just smiles and says “Ask your friends in the neighborhood about me. They’ll tell you I know how to return a favor.”
