Adaptation is Cage’s good one. Wait a sec. Nicholas Cage was in Fast Times at Ridgemont High? Huh. His character in Peggy Sue Got Married was not too bad. What’s the last decent movie Sean Connery was in? And please don’t say League of Extraordinary Gentlemen… Oh, and I stand by my Gene Hackman 90% horrible. That guy has been in like 300+ movies. It’s no surprise there are 10 good ones. ---

I can’t stand Philip Seymour Hoffman. It is both a combination of the smarmy characters he plays, and the wet, mouth-breathing way he speaks. ---

I liked a lot of Cage’s earlier stuff, like _Raising Arizona_ and _Red Rock West_ and _Birdy_. Even _Moonstruck._ Boy, has he made a lot of crap over the years since. ---

I see Khadaji already mentioned Martin Lawrence. When he makes his tough guy face (big rolling eyes with a pout), I hope his car drives off a bridge. Reminds me of a yappy little poodle. He carries himself like he’s built like Tiny Lister when he can’t be more than 150 pounds - dude needs a better mirror. I’m also tired of Shia LeBeowulf’s “I can’t BELIEVE this is happening!” face in every movie he’s in. Other standard lines/faces: “We’ve got to get OUT of HERE!”, “WHOA!” and “are you CRAZY?” ---

Vin Diesel was also very good in the underrated _Knockaround Guys_, which I think was a flop because the writer and director refused to add an obligatory female love interest. Nicolas Cage was great in _Wild at Heart._ Even Jennifer Lopez was good in _U-Turn._ The shittiest actors have been in one or two decent films, and the best actors have been in a few shitty ones. And some of the best actors have been in _tons_ of shitty movies. ---

Mel Gibson. I never liked him in the first place. Recent events have certainly not served to reverse that opinion. **Jason Schwartzman** creeps me the hell out. I also don’t like **Seth Rogen** , but I don’t think I’ve seen any of his films so I have no idea if he’s a good actor. ---
