Really no idea for sure. But… well I work for County Gov, and we do have good connections either up to state or to city. A good Sheriff will not like this shit going down. And County does have social services and such.
I would think about calling a victims advocate hotline in your area, or simply visiting the County website where you live, look for Social Services (or whatever it may be called), and asking them.
You’re obviously way more keen on calling my dear friend (the victim here) an idiot than in offering helpful advice. Stay classy there, Inna.
The idea that revenge porn sites are fake is sadly naive. There have been sites that have been shut down.
It’s not like there’s only reputable porn websites out there. And, while a lot of them lie, a lot of them also don’t vet videos. They rely on being put up in places where not even child porn would get them as long as they aren’t aware of it.
Does the guy not have a reputation to protect? She could tell him that, if he posts it, she will alert his mother, his grandmother, his employer, and any girl she finds out he dates what he did. She should ask him to delete the video from his computer and the camera’s memory card while she watches.
There are ways to undelete things and he may already have a hidden backup, but let’s hope he’s not so savvy.
No, he’s just lowlife piece of trailer trash. My friend is pretty sure that he is at the very least showing it to his friends for giggles. She’s horrified.
