# Lower your flag to half staff, you morons!

The link I posted before was the closest I could find to my specific point, but if KellyM’s information is more accurate, I’ll go along with that. And thanks for helping clear it up.

The President has issued a [proclamation](http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2001/09/20010912-1.html) for all public, federal and military facilities to fly the flag at half staff until sunset on September 16th.
