Carlos Castñeda, wrote lots of books on lucid dream controls as taught by a yaqui indian call Don Juan Matus, to have over looked the original guru of lucid dreaming is an affront not only to Carlos Castñeda, but to all Latinos.

If you poke around these threads, you might notice that quite a few of us have some experience with lucid dreaming; not all of us have read about Castenada though.

Cecil’s article notes that the term was coined by Frederik van Eeden in 1913 and has been known for centuries. I speculate that there have been a number of lucid dreaming gurus.
