So where did those episodes come from? Were they leftovers from this season and originally intended to air in the new season? ---

The one this season where Maze went to Canada was part of that. ---

I finally saw the two bonus episodes. The first one was meh – I don’t like the Ella character, and didn’t like the actor who played Rae Rae. I would have liked it more with different actors. Loved the alternate universe eppy, though. Loved the nod to the comic origin, with Maze’s face, and Neil Gaiman narrating as a surprisingly kindly creator who mostly sets things in motion and lets his creations (including his children) work it out for themselves. ---

In particular, the narrator seems to be underlining that Lucifer and Chloe genuinely like each other, rather than simply be destined to be together (as per Lucifer’s initial suspicions). The actor of Azrael was in _Twin Peaks_, you have to give her that. ---

In at least two episodes they did show her “real face.” One very early episode, and a late episode where she was taking Trixie trick-or-treating. ---
