Listen morons, its not like a snow storm (or meteor storm for that matter). We’ve been able to predict lunar eclipses with good precision for hundreds of years, if not longer.
You’re gonna feel awfully silly if by some weird chance it _doesn’t_ go down as planned! 😃 ---
No, it’s usually “I’m really very busy” or “I have to adjust my orbit”. You know, the third time they broke a date for their grandmother’s funeral I should have taken the hint, but some meteor showers play hard to get.
Hmph. That’s nothin’. Why, when I was your age, I’d walk through drifts of regolith that were up to the seals at the hip just to see a decent meteor shower. Kids today. 😃 A few years ago, I was in Philly when the Leonids hit in the autumn. Gormy but it was a cold damp night. We drove over to a public golf course in Fairmount Park, in Mt. Airy. Laid down on the frozen damp grass…for…an hour or more? The Leonids did not disappoint and I didn’t stop shaking for hours. A spectacular display.
