A quick look at my stats will show that I’ve been a member of this board for a while now, but my post count is in the low 200’s. I read a lot, but post very little. I know the origins of Og Smash!; Hi, Opal; 1920’s style death rays, I was here during the Great Message Board Outage and even managed to be the first (or second) to post in a thread after Cecil, The Perfect Master. But I don’t have a lot to say. What I’m wondering is, who has the least to say? My own statistics (213 posts in 30 months) works out to 7.1 ppm (posts per month). Which means I should celebrate my 1000th post sometime in 2013. Who among the Teeming Millions can boast (?) a lower ppm ratio? Who is the quietest Doper? ---

I remember seeing a guy who posted as a charter member (so within a few weeks) with ~5 posts since registering in late 1999. At .29 PPD, I got nothin’ (But I have lurked, pre-register, since at least 2000, and probably sometime in 1999) ---

I remember the AOL days, but I did register for years. Then I lost my email account and had to register, so I’ve been here a lot longer that it looks like. I don’t even know how many posts I have. Now I’m curious as to why I would post here when I don’t post anywhere else. ---

Well, 0.38 is not going to beat any of you, but as you can see I have a very low post count for someone who has stuck around that long. Mind you, I’m not really a lurker. I waffle away with the best of them when I’m here. I just didn’t have proper computer access for about 3 years. My posting rate for the last month of so would probably be more like 6 or so. So I’m cheating a bit. ---
