The problem is you don’t strike me as particularly arrogant - quite the opposite in fact! I guess it might be your intention to sound assured and capable, but it doesn’t really come across that way. The claims of being former special forces, the drunken rants, the strange hostility at anyone who questions you, the impotent internet hardman posturing…there’s a much stronger suggestion of insecurity than arrogance there. So, you tell me: why would anyone be trying to diminish something you don’t actually appear to have? ---
