# Lying sack of sh\*t

Where’d the phrase “lying sack of sh\*t” come from? Cecil used it in his column about pathological liars. I’ve been using the phrase for many years but I don’t remember where I first heard it. I was tickled to see it today in print for the first time in the archive.
