As an incidental note, Lynda Carter was Miss Arizona and Miss USA 1973. Surely among the current crop of pageant contenders is a tall athletic brunette who could pass for a Greek demigodess while kicking butt. ---

I think the height and bulk requirement is the sticking point for most Wonder Woman wannabes in Hollywood. Hollywood likes 'em short and skinny so that’s what they’re oversupplied with. One potential Wonder Woman I was thinking of is Vicky Pratt, who’s currently playing a mutant on MutantX. She’s a bodybuilder and aerobicizer, so she’s got the buff thing down cold. She has also demonstrated at least minimal acting skills on MutantX (it’s not a show that demands a lot of acting ability). I just don’t know if Pratt is tall enough, but if you’ve ever seen one of the scenes on MutantX that lets Pratt show off her athleticism, you’d KNOW she could do a bang-up job of making Wonder Woman seem super-powered. In fact, looking for a tall aerobicizer who can act might be a smarter move than looking for an actress who’s tall and buff. the gal who was in Iron Eagles III (“the imdb is your friend, Evil!”) RAchel McLish. She has everything as far as looks and fitness goes, but she is 45 years old so prolly too old to convincingly play Wonder Woman, though she’d prolly make a convincing Amazon queen. My bet is Hollywood will go for name recognition and we’ll be stuck with some girlygirl with twiglike arms tossing guys all over the place. Gabrielle Reece would fill the bill, but she’s got no acting chops that I can think of. ---

Victoria Pratt is only 5’6". The imdb _is_ your friend. Also, I just don’t think she has the _gravitas_ needed to play Wonder Woman. However, her former costar from _Cleopatra 2525_ Gina Torres is 5’10", and I think she could easily bring off the regal nature of the Amazon princess. A black Wonder Woman, you say? Well, why not? There were dark-skinned Greeks. ---

Gina Torres works for me. I liked her in Cleopatra 2525 and I like her in She Spies. ---

Another one to consider would be [Terry Farrell](http://us.imdb.com/PGallery?Farrell,%20Terry) , who although not having the same err… assets as [Lynda Carter](http://us.imdb.com/PGallery?Carter,%20Lynda&source=mptv) looks a lot like a younger version of her, she could pass as her sister.
