Oh dear. ☹ Her name was one I always recognized when it came up, and as has been mentioned, she’s one of the few names that came to mind when I think of the SDMB. ---

It _is_ sad to hear, and also heartwarming to see the outpouring of concern. Like others, Lynn was one of the first people I remember recognizing way back when I registered and she was always kind to me when I needed it. We’ve been here a long time, and the fact that Lynn’s passing can bring out such a reaction is a great testament to herself and her work on making the SDMB a real community whose members care about what happens to each others. That’s another wonderful result of her life and her work here. I’ll miss her. ---
