Kurdt, if you want to be a useful member of this board, try posting more intelligently. This is a good message board to be a member of, better than many others. Most of your posts seem to be attention seeking gibberish. If you make an effort to contribute something at lesat remotely funny / useful / interesting then people won’t pile on. Continue with the gimmick posts and people will label you as a troll. Its up to you. ---

You guys are like vultures. The guy apologised in public, rather than by email. Put a couple of extra digits on his post count, and there’d be “now that was class” posts appearing here instead of “you’re an attention whore” ones. It’s not that I can’t see the case for a private apology. Yes, there’s logic in it, but **Kurdt** has chosen to turn over a new leaf. Now it’s up to each of you whether you believe that or not, but with no announcement of the fact, I suspect he’d be in for a long wait for forgiveness. I really can’t blame him for doing it this way, given the circumstances. He’s also, IMHO, acted reasonably bravely in putting his cards on the table like that. If he fucks up again, it’ll look awful. This is why I’m inclined to give him a shot at redemption. Heck, it’s Christmas. **Kurdt** , you are _not_ obligated to continue posting in this thread. My humble advice to you is to politely ask a moderator to close the damn thing down, take a fortnight or so break away from the boards, and then quietly come back as **Kurdt MK II**. SDMB transformations and redemptions have been successfully done before. Good luck. ---
