But _The Village_ and _Lady in the Water_ were much less good and _The Happening_ was just stupid. (I don’t know how much he is to blame for _The Last Airbender_ as the original was also stupid - see: _Speed Racer_). All I know is audiences are actually laughing when his name appears in the trailer. I don’t know if he can rescue his career at this point. ---

It should be noted that _Devil_ is not actually directed by M. Night STFU. He just wrote the story. ---

I’d be interested in reading your views on it in more depth, as I disagree pretty sharply with what you’ve written here. Of course, you are setting yourself up for a dogpile if you do, so I don’t blame you for not wanting to get into it. ---

I are whooshed:p I had a feeling it was a parody and then wavered back and forth until I saw the real trailer (which, I think looks kind of good). I started a post thanking the OP for the great laugh and was going to link to the trailer I had watched on IMDB and when I went to the site it was. . . gone:eek: ---

I saw the trailer when I saw Scott Pilgrim last weekend. The mood in the theater seemed to be “hm, interesting” until his name appeared on the screen. No laughter, but there was an audible groan of disappointment throughout the theater. Which was _then_ followed by laughter. ---
