I was wondering what the easiest method of converting a divx/xvid .avi file to a vcd (preferably a burned ready to watch vcd) might be, using Apple’s OS X of course. I googled and did my best but after more than an hour of time and 4 coasters (without sound and whatnot) I think its time to turn to SD for help.

Have you tried [VideoHelp.com](http://www.videohelp.com)? [Here](http://homepage.mac.com/major4/divx_svcd.html) is a DivX to SVCD guide from their MacOS section.
