# Mac Users: NTFS Driver?

In [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=703459) I got great advice on which RAID to buy. I ended up getting a Drobo 5D immediately. The second one arrived yesterday. It’ll be the off site backup for the original. I’d like to use the Thunderbolt interface to copy the existing data (7TB) from one to the other. The Drobos support the Thunderbolt ports only in MacOS, not Windows, and thus my problem. The Drobos are NTFS format and MacOS can only read NTFS-formatted drives. Which NTFS driver should I get for Maverick to write to the Drobo?

Before anyone asks, I have no interest in converting the Drobos to whatever format MacOs uses: NTFS has much wider support in the computer world.

I use Paragon NTFS and it works well.
