I like your style. At a neighborhood yard sale, the collector had a nice selection of Star Wars toys still in the box. I spotted a Kenner X-Wing and had to have it. The price was great so I bought it. My wife, a bit annoyed, asked what I was going to do with it. I told her I was going to take it home, take it out of the box, put the stickers on it, and play with it! The “collector” who was still holding my cash turned pale white. It made my day. (And I did in fact play with it, still do on occasion!) ---

The bottles of Gordon & MacPhail and Obam were nice. I think part of the pleasure can be the ritual of the thing, and that includes the bottle. I had a $100 bottle of The Mac. It was good, but the person who gave it to me did it for the most self-serving reasons. Just to bolster their own smugness and let me know what a savage I was for drinking cheap booze. A real Asshole. But I drank it anyway. Enjoyed it very much! Filled the empty bottle with Rot-gut, and displayed it prominently! (Just Kidding!) 😆 ---
