So I’ve been hearing rumors that ‘Machete’ one of the faux trailers in the _Grindhouse_ movie, will be made into a full-length movie. On Spike’s “Scream” awards show this week, they introduced Jessica Alba as “the star of Robert Rodriguez’s MACHETE.” I wondered if that was just an in-joke reference to _Grindhouse_, or what? Maybe it was serious after all…TRM ---

It’s definitely a reality. I watched him filming a car chase and an explosion in downtown Austin about a month ago. Slowest car chase you have ever seen, but I bet he will manipulate it and make it look awesome. I can’t wait to see it. Little tidbit- on the car they used, the registration sticker said “666”. ---

Except, in this case they’re sexy nurses. Not surprising that they’re in it - Electra Avellan and Elise Avellan are Rodriguez’s nieces. It’s quite the family film - Danny Trejo is his cousin. (Oddly, I don’t think he’s related to Michelle Rodriguez.) ---
