The fact that the guy was sending suicide threats and your response is to want him punished rather than want him to get help says a lot more about you than him, MrDibble. Unfortunately, since he’s not a veteran, no one will care you just pulled the same shit as Shodan–attacking somoen based on private knowledge of their mental health issues. ---

Yeah, it says I’m not dumb enough to fall for every online sob story. I’ve got enough experience with both attempted and actual suicide in my life, as well as enough experience with trolls, not to bother with deciding whether ever online threat is real or not. I left that up to the mods. Funny how he vanished from my PMs as soon as the mods get involved, though… ---

PMs are no different than thread posts in terms of the board rules. I’ll \*happily \*report a PM, and I’ll \*happily \*share a PM. Just because they have “private” in their name does not make them some sort of therapist-patient confidential communication. Trolling in PMs (and this is not the first PM troll I’ve encountered) only benefits from your dumb attitude. PMs are not medical records. Others \*should \*know, in case he pulls the same shit with them. Sunlight is the best disinfectant. ---
