# Mad at my dentist, can you help?

Good Lord, financing? I’m not being financed. I’m just being billed! As long as I’m paying something, I won’t be sent to collections or anything. Maybe this is one of the advantages of going to a single-dentist office. He makes the rules, and he likes me.

Remind me, while I’m in town this weekend, to go give the man a hug.

I had a dentist grind two teeth down to stubbs, then tell me he couldn’t put on the crown until I paid my bill in full - the charges had gone way beyond what the insurance would cover. Left me with two teeth with no enamel until I could come up with several thousand dollars. I paid him off. Then I found another dentist, who has his mind in my mouth instead of my wallet.
