[This](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?p=7112813#post7112813) thread gave me an idea that I’m sure has been done before here but it sounds like fun. Fill in the blanks She \_\_\_\_ with a \_\_\_\_ blanket and fourteen \_\_\_\_\_. He \_\_\_\_ so \_\_\_\_ that he \_\_\_\_\_! 🙂 You are all free to flame me for posting stupid threads. I thought you weren’t supposed to know what the sentence was in Mad Libs. You just provided words that were specific parts of speech, and afterwards found out what the sentence said. If you know, it’s kind of like cheating. ---

Yeah, that kind of defeats the purpose of Mad Libs, if you know the sentence ahead of time. Why don’t you try it this way: Give me a noun, a verb, a number, a place, a noun, and a person’s name. In December, \_\_\_\_ are very rare. \_\_\_\_\_ is difficult because of the snow, as well. Almost \_\_\_\_\_\_ people vacation in \_\_\_\_\_\_ every winter. The \_\_\_\_\_ ends with everyone returning to work and school, including \_\_\_\_\_. ---

I think you’re right…you really do need the questions first. This is more like “Fill in the blanks”…which isn’t actually very fun at all, more like a test question. ---

Or you could do it like the TV game show, _Match Game_. The young woman grocery shopper got quite a surprise when, unsure how to find ripe fruit, she asked the man next to her to check her BLANK. ---
