Can’t we just get along? In the end aren’t we all just human beans?
I’m behind and I haven’t watched the latest episode. But I realized that we haven’t been shown a successful ad campaign all season. The first couple of seasons it was all about the ads making them the people at the top of the ladder, defining their personalities and their place in the universe.
This year the ads are all failing and so are the personalities. They’re both crumbling together. If they can’t sell their vision of the good life then they can’t sell themselves either.
What they’re selling is portrayed as crazy as a Hilton on the moon.
And they’re getting more and more desperate…
