I may be biased, but AMC is showing its criminal incompetence again.

This is their flagship show, the only reason they’re on the TV map, and they can’t spot Weiner TWO piddling characters? They’re already paying him $15 million a year.

AMC seems determined to piss away their new-found success.

Unless they want to fire January Jones. Then I forgive them for everything.

I’m with you. Breaking Bad is probably only going one more season, as I don’t see the story arc being sustainable any longer than that. Mad Men can probably go another two seasons before it just becomes more of the same-old. Walking Dead is too cartoonish for me; unless they can come up with some unique plot devices, people are going to lose interest quickly. I’ll be curious to see if the new series starting on April 3rd is going to be of interest. AMC has built a rep for good programming out of a joke channel that bleeps even mild oaths from classic films. I’d think they would want to make sure they don’t sink back into that muck.

The series that starts on April 3 is a remake of a Danish series called The Killing, and both the original and the remake are supposed to be very good.
