For\* Mad Men\* fans who have run out of things to do/watch, go back and watch the very first episode, “Smoke Gets in Your Eyes.” It’s 1960 and Peggy has just come to work. Holy crap. What a mind-bending experience. It will make you see how far the series and the characters have come. I couldn’t watch it all the way through in one sitting–it was too painful and, frankly, embarrassing. The blatant sexism was excruciating to behold. And everyone looks so young–Pete, Kenny, Stan, and of course, Don, who actually looks better a few years older.

I actually watched the Mad Men seasons in semi-random order, so I watched Season 1 some time after Season 4, I think. And I agree – it seems like a weird time warp to go backwards like that.
