Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales is being re-magined in a new Netflix series, simply titled Tales (where the “T” is a mushroom cloud). “In a post-apocalyptic world a ragtag band of desperate survivors tell stories as they travel in a search for the promised safety of a rumored underground city where civilization can take root once again.” This is part of a new Netflix partnership with the American Library Association. It is hoped someday that all the classics of literature can be remade into postmodern dystopian nightmares. ---

Cubes are merely shapes that have mastered the art of three-dimensional border symmetry and can thus strive to become octahedrons with practice and a little bit of luck. And really they should try. Who wants to be a cube for all of life? Where is the challenge? While functional shapes always have their dronelike role, progressive geometrists recommend thinking outside of the box. ---
