Frank Sinatra’s eyes were not blue. While he was on a USO tour during WWII, Phil Silvers wrote a skit that had a bullet go past his face. “Yup, blew right by his eyes. Good ol’ blew eyes!” The nickname stuck, and rather than disappoint the GIs coming back from the war, all future Sinatra movies had his eyes painted blue on the final released copies. ---

Big Ben is not all that big. Big is not the same as tall. Width-wise it is about the same as other clock towers. 315 feet tall is up there, but not that big in the world of bigness. Mount Everest is over 29,000 feet tall and really wide as an example. Experts say you could fit almost two million London Tower clocks inside Mount Everest and still have room for the pyramids. ---

During **Brain Wurms** first gig, the lead vocalist had a brain aneurysm halfway through the first song and died onstage. The rest of the band shrieked _en masse_ and deserted the stage, abandoning their equipment, and were never heard from again. ---
