Q-Anon enthusiasts have been tattooing flourishes onto their inner butt cheeks to make their buttholes resemble the letter Q. Fans of the conspiracy theory group picked up the fad after self-proclaimed “SpokesQ” Glenn Blarmflarhm showed pictures of his newly tattooed anus to others on the 9chan (one more than 8chan) website. In related news, emergency rooms throughout certain areas of America are reporting an increase in certain anus-related incidents including severe anal itching, anal fissures, and mild rash reactions from cheap tattoo inks. ---

The JWST has a fax machine on board ! It was included in the original design in 1987 and by the time it became obsolete it would have taken too much time to redesign all the comm’s systems without it, so it was just left in. The phone number it connects to was hard coded, and if it was ever deployed, it would send copies of all data collected by the telescope to a land line in what is now the canteen at NASA’s JPL in California. ---

In 1968, Jack Webb filmed an episode of _Dragnet_, which he based on the Star Trek episode _Mirror, Mirror_. The episode featured an alternate-universe version of Los Angeles, which was darker and more sinister than our world; it depicted both “our” Joe Friday (a.k.a. Good Friday), and a sinister, goatee-wearing Joe Friday (a.k.a. Evil Friday). The episode never aired, and Webb refused to acknowledge that he had even thought of such a silly idea. ---

It is well-known that chewing gum is illegal (and harshly punished) in Singapore. What is less well-known is that it is also illegal there to even _say_ the word “gum,” or to have the last name Wrigley. ---

Interestingly, ad makers needed to use chroma key effects to remove Windy Trafalgar’s second set of breasts for the Doublemint gum advertisements. The amount of resources used to do this was almost equal to paying two actresses but the advertising agency was required to stick with the ultimately cheaper option. ---
