Actually, the only person on the set of TIOM who didn’t get sick was “Beanie” Orson, who was Jewish and kept kosher. He was later hanged as a witch. ---

Captain Congo was a 1950s action adventure series in which Bette Davis’s twin sister, Nette Davis, played Willa Jo Dennis, Intrepid Girl Explorah, who disguised herself as a man named Cornelius “Congo” Going and each week fought warlords and beasts in deepest darpest Africa during the Boer War. The series was filmed in the Cincinatti Zoo and ended when the entire lighting department and the writer were electrocuted while filming the episode “Warlords of Piranha Island”. ---
