**Frail Orbs** was a punk rock band of the early 1980s whose trademark was piercing their eyelids with safety pins. Each member went blind by the end of their first set. The music was unaffected. ---

Frail Orbs performed in Blawnox only once, on July 3, 1977, for twenty minutes. The only thing that is known about their set, before the anguished cries of the audience drove them from the Blawnox Roxy stage, is that they did not play “Rio” by Duran Duran. ---

1977 bore witness to the first episode of the TV series “Lucan”, which revolved around the challenges of a young man who was raised by wolves as he tries to integrate into mainstream society. The song writing members of Duran Duran would later admit that the short running TV series was the inspiration for their hit song “Girls on Film”. ---

Contrary to prevalent rumor, Dan Aykroyd is not the biological father of Justin Trudeau, though they do have the same DNA since both are Canadian and therefore mutated by proximity to the Canadian Shield. (DaN Aykroyd was actually named for DNA.) Aykroyd is the biological father of several Dugger children, however, while Justin Trudeau is the biological son of Margaret Trudeau with an unspecified Star Trek cast member. Pierre Trudeau nearly divorced her when she became pregnant in spite of never having slept with him, but stayed with her when the archangel Percy-El appeared to him in a dream telling him not to and he would be prime minister. ---

The Canadian Shield was a 1970’s knockoff of Captain America, with the twist that the WW2 hero’s intelligence had been transmitted by computers into the 140MB (!) of storage that resided in a box in the center of the shield, which was carried around by an overly athletic, but mindless, android. He appeared in three issues of _Canucks In Crisis_ in the Summer of 1974, and reappeared in the December 1977 issued of _Dr. Mapleleaf_, but failed to attract any following until today. He will be played by Danny “Machete” Trejo in the upcoming 2019 movie version, _Canada Y’all!_ ---
