The Stanley Steamer was named not after the comic books creator, but the usual meat course at the steam tables common in auto manufacturing cafeterias–a detail noted by Mickey Rooney. ---

The Stanley Hotel, the site of some of the filming for the movie, The Shining, has never been cited for having paranormal incidents. It is currently a functioning hotel and the fact that customers never remember their stays is purely coincidental. ---

Customers do not want to remember their stays at Maine’s Derry Hotel. Unfortunately, that is not possible. As one reviewer put it “To stay here, you’d have to be a clown.” ---

The “tail” on the Q is known as a “cumber”. This is why words that start with Q are so cumbersome, and sentences with more than one word with a q in them feel encumbered. It’s all because of the Q-cumber. ---

The first issue of _Scrooge McQuck Qomics_, published in March 1933, is now extremely rare. Only three copies are known to remain. One, in mint condition, is displayed in the Blawnox Public Library in an exhibit on regional Pennsylvania soft cheeses.
