# Made up number sequencing problem

I showed my alphabetical order problem to a friend. He did not get the answer, but did get frustrated. He came up with the following sequence. It could have something to do with music, but might not. I can’t crack it.

Sequence: 8.5.4.9.4.4.8.3.2

The sequence appears in [A030139](http://www.research.att.com/~njas/sequences/A030139).

In the future, please use commas. Better yet, bookmark the site and look it up.
