Probably shouldn’t bump this for a _New York Post_ article, but there are other sources too. The woman seems to have a troubled past and there is a psychic involved in there somewhere. This will crush the parents if it’s just a hoax with a disturbed woman used by others.

I doubt that the parents believe that she’s Madeleine anymore than we do.

Probably, but I imagine it’s really hard to give up all hope. I find it strange that local investigators can’t rule the girl out without a DNA test. It’s not like most people don’t have a trackable background, especially young people.

That search is just as likely to turn up missing Nazi gold as evidence in the McCann disappearance.
