I guess it depends how you define “bad.” Edwards didn’t have to talk a lot about his positions because the election was all about Cawthorn, but he seems to be right in the pro-Trump, save-America-from-Biden’s-socialism mainstream of the Republican Party. Cawthorn was loud, but he didn’t accomplish anything. Arguably having a more effective MAGA-aligned Republican in that seat is worse. ---

I was thinking that he’ll also do the lecture circuit, for a while, anyway, since we all know he’s incapable of regular employment. I also would be quite surprised if he sees his 30th birthday, because (among other things) paraplegics have drastically reduced life expectancies. ---
