Man, I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, I’m thrilled that Adolf Kardashian will no longer represent me in Congress. On the other hand, the Republican nominee, Chuck Edwards, is politically just as terrible, only he’s a much better politician. He’s going to be way more effective at enacting terrible law than MadCaw ever was or would be. On the other hand, Edwards has been an effective politician in the NC Legislature. Removing him from there will be good. On the other hand, our Democratic nominee, Jasmine Beach-Ferrara, is awesome–and she’s going to have a much harder time beating Edwards than she would have had beating Cawthorn. So I’m torn. ---

Also, Trump compares the amount of time it’s taking for Pennsylvania to count the votes versus France and its recent election. I think someone in another topic here pointed out that in parliamentary elections, the local election board is only counting the votes for one office, the member of parliament for that district. And once it’s obvious which party won the most seats in parliament throughout the country, one knows whether Macron or Le Pen would be the next prime minister. ---

Donald Trump always says _every_ election is fraudulent, unless and until he (or whoever his sycophant is) comfortably wins it. So, in fairness, he’s being 100% consistent and (lack of) principled. ---
