Brittany is pointless, being nothing more right now that a younger version of Anna Nicole Smith or Kato Kaelin. What has she done in the past 2-3 years besides be constantly photographed by London’s _The Sun_ in various states of undress (oooh, ahhh)? Madonna is the perfect representation of MTV: 20 years ago, both were edgy and irreverent. Now both are aging, sagging wannabes of themselves, doing anything to extend their “15 minutes” just one tick more, and only proving that, in today’s pop culture, they are irrelevant. MTV and Madonna have both “jumped the shark”. ---

I felt honestly cheated! I hear all the hushed whispers… the rumour, the innuendo… the gasps and the giggles… I say to myself " ' **Beast** them girls musta got DOWN! they musta really tried to one-up TaTu or something…" and what’d I get!!! the Madonna/Britney kiss was good… but I am surprised the still photos came out at all, cuz it was over so quick… then they cut instantly to a shot of Timberlake (that shot was longer than the kiss btw) and the television audience missed Madonna/Christina pretty much altogether… it was OK… but not worth the hype… and not worth a download. the still is much better. ---

Cripes, isn’t Madonna’s fifteen minutes up _yet_? I feel a little sorry for Britney. She gains nothing from being associated with this overdone skank. I agree it is sort of pathetic. I agree that they are doing it to cause people like us to talk about it in places like this. I know there is almost no chance that it was anything more than a publicity stunt. But damn, I still thought it was hot! ---

Hmmm… A “gay bandwagon.” Funny how phrases can just pop out when I type fast. Wonder what those Queer Eye dudes could do with a bandwagon? Would it be a performance bandwagon? Would it be frilly and femme? I think the former, but you never know. Then you could have some “bear” influence. Just read about that. I agree with all those people who said it’s a publicity stunt if that wasn’t clear through all my remarks. OTOH, if Madonna and Britney “not a virgin” Spears show up arm-in-arm for the next few weeks, then it’s a _really good_ publicity stunt. ---

was it surprising? No. thanks to lola’s spoiler. was it shocking? No. because nothing is shocking anymore. I believe that Madonna kissed these girls to show the world that she is not threatened by their popularity as popstars- she literally embraces them!
