Dear Mid-Atlantic Dopers: My dear sister, **Anita Vacation** , and my mother, **Mom** , wish to have a party for me. But since they can’t just have a party for no reason, they’ve decided it should be in honor of my birthday. But since I’ll be in Miami on my actual birthday, it should be an early birthday celebration, and as if that weren’t enough, it should also be a going away party, since I am indeed going away. So you, my friends, are hereby invited to my big honkin’ birthday-and-going-away bash. **When:** Wednesday, July 3, 2002, at 7 PM. **Where:** Mom’s house in Reston, VA. Directions will be emailed to party-goers. Prezzies are not required, though will be happily accepted if you happen to bring, say, a check for $659 to cover the cost of the U-Haul truck. ---

It would appear that my Dad, step-mom, and grandma will be here that day - although they may have left that day in the morning. We would love to be there it, if at all possible. ---

Not a prob, we had a visit tentatively scheduled for April, but something called St. Thomas came up. We will still do a (non-Fest) weekend in the City sometime in the next year. ---
