Whaddaya know - the sun just broke through. And then went right behind the clouds again. Ah well. Weather forecast for tomorrow is pretty much unchanged from this morning. We should be fine. ---

I saw there was a post from **RT** , and I immediately thought, “Is it _today_???” Whew! It ain’t. I bought three 2-liter bottles of soda and three bags o’ chips. Hope someone’s got cups. I have only two C batteries, though (brand new); my guess is that the ol’ boombox needs more than two. Doesn’t it? **FCM** , I am bringing my regular camera and my el cheapo digital camera. ---

Nope, still tomorrow. Aren’t you glad? I’ve got cups taken care of. And a bag of ice for the drinks. I’ve also got more sodas - earlier this year, I switched from regular to diet sodas, and I’ve got some Mountain Dew and Dr. Pepper to give away. I went and got a backup 8-pack of batteries today, so the boom box should have plenty of hours of life in it. See y’all tomorrow! ---

Woohoo! I bought a thing of assorted raw veggies and I’ll bring some dip. I also bought a big thing of fruit salad. If you ask nice, I’ll bring them to the picnic 😉 ---

I am going to have to duck out at the last minute. I’ve been feeling pretty cruddy all day, and now I’m almost to the “violently ill” stage, so I don’t think I’d be much fun to be around tomorrow. It’s a shame I won’t get a chance to meet everyone, maybe next time. Now I just have to figure out what the heck I’m going to do with this king’s ransom in chips I have downstairs. ---

Any volunteers to swing by TTO’s place and steal his chips? 😉 ---

I say TTO comes anyway. ‘Violently ill’ can also be ‘performance art’. ---

OK, hate me now. I will not be able to make it. I’m really bummed, but life does seem to get in the way of my pleasures. ☹ Try to have fun without me. I’ll try not to pout too much. \ ---

I have two photos. Because these are from the el cheapo digital camera, they don’t look wonderful, but there ya go. [http://www.geocities.com/dfranzen70/MAD03a.jpg](http://www.geocities.com/dfranzen70/MAD03a.jpg) and [http://www.geocities.com/dfranzen70/mad03b.jpg](http://www.geocities.com/dfranzen70/mad03b.jpg) Others took more photos, so maybe we’ll see 'em. And point and laugh. And laugh, and laugh, and laugh . . . . (Hopefully, the links work. If not, try cutting and pasting them. If that doesn’t work, throw up your hand in disgust.) ---
