Well here I am at my parents’ house. I figured I would ask here, in case anyone was afraid to do so (ha. Folks around here are unabashed in their questions!)\*, whether it’d be ok to bring a (mostly) harmless teenage kid/boy/human being (depending on what day it is) to this dig. He’s been to fests before, but they were also rife with young people (substantially younger than he). So yeah. He doesn’t know about it, so if the answer’s no I probably just won’t tell him. But if the answer’s yes, he may be there. Still dunno about my mother. We’ll see. I guess y’all will see when I arrive with X (X being at least 0 and at most 2) people with me. \*Yes, I am aware that the phrasing of it makes it look like someone else was afraid to ask if my brother could attend. You wanna try being coherent after a ~450-mile trek, you be my guest. ---

Hey, you know this crowd well enough to know that the real question is whether you want to inflict a bunch of MADs on “a (mostly) harmless teenage kid/boy/human being” who has done nothing whatsoever to deserve such harsh treatment. (IOW, of course he is welcome.) BTW, Pun, we are expecting a couple of young children and Geobabe has generously volunteered your services as the party babysitter. 😉 ---

We got home about midnight, hit the bed by 12:30. Unfortunately, little one had a nightmare about 4:30am and we didn’t get back to sleep til 6:30. It’s gonna be a loooong day:) ---
