**Lightfoot** from my view you’re the only active clear, so I’m leaving it up to you to drop the hammer between myself and Meeko, who clearly both think the other is scum. you’ve made a vote based admittedly on gut instinct and I don’t envy your position. since it’s obvious fmpov that Meeko is the last scum, I see no value in continuing to engage him directly, as it’s you that I need to convince. I’m ok with an early end of day, but before we go there, I would encourage you to review my posts thoroughly and ask me any questions you wish before deciding to leave your current vote in place and indicate to story that he can go ahead and end the day early. I’ve got a lot of shit to do today at work, but I will make a point of dropping into the thread as frequently as possible to provide you answers. incidentally, I agree that if we manage to win this neither myself nor Babale should get a mark in the win column for our major holes in activity - but I’m not sure we track wins over time here on the dope or not? ---

This is a tough decision \*\* Meeko \*\* has seemed a tad “ off” all game but nothing I could really pin down And I keep asking myself “ Would Meeko be continue to play oddly as Scum? Surely his fellows would have encouraged him to change tactics?” \*\* fubbles \*\* hasn’t really interacted enough in decisions to get a good “read” The MYLO comment sticks in my brain too Scum likes miss-lynches it sounds more like something Scum would say- not Town - and why didn’t he pop right in with the role PM when asked? \* The spoiler boards have got to be yelling at me at this point Hence voting my gut- it ain’t science for certain ---

At the moment, the vote stands at two votes fubbleskag, one vote Meeko (zero votes Lightfoot). Day will end today. I may still be out at 2:00, so for simplicity’s sake I will extend the Day until 4:00PM EST, at which time I will definitely be home and able to end the Day. ---

well, one of two things is happening here. either Meeko has fluked or masterminded his way through this game, I can’t be sure which, or Lightfoot fooled us all with a claim of a (very unlikely) non existent town power role. in either case, I must say very well done - I look forward to learning which it is. I’m hoping it’s the former because at least that way town still has a chance at winning, if Lightfoot protects correctly. and again, my apologies to the rest of town for my period of absence. ---

**Endgame** _EXT - Town Square, Dusk. Fubbleskag is led to the noose._ MEEKO It’s time. LIGHTFOOT Indeed. ## BABALE MEEKO Any last words? _CUT TO - fubbleskaG, atop the scaffold, with head lowered. He raises his head to look at the camera._ FUBBLESKAG I regret only that I have one life to give for my Town. _The executioner reaches for the lever that will drop fubbleskag to his doom, but pulls back as fubbleskag appears to not yet be finished._ FUBBLESKAG Give me liberty, or give me the Black Plague! _Again with the lever; again with the interruption._ FUBBLESKAG Call me Ishmael. LIGHTFOOT Come on! MEEKO For the love of potatoes! ## BABALE (emphatically) FUBBLESKAG Fine. \*CLOSE ON - His eyes. They quickly lighten, and turn yellow. The camera pulls back to reveal an honest-to-goodness werewolf, big as life and twice as smelly. With a roar, Fubbleskag leaps forward. He tosses Meeko roughly to the ground, and lunges for Lightfoot. With a cry, she falls backward. CLOSE ON - Her eyes. CLOSE ON - Fubbleskag, snarling fiercely. There is a loud crash. The camera pans down to the hole that has appeared in fubbleskag’s midsection. He pitches forward to the ground, quite dead. Behind him stands Dizzymrslizzy - Ash - evidently not quite dead yet.\* ASH Dinner is cancelled. _The camera pans across the faces of the villagers, relieved and confused by this obvious second sequel deus ex machina, as we fade to black._ TITLE CARD: Two hours later _CLOSE ON - Meeko, entering his home. Fubbleskag’s entrails are still fresh on his clothes. He sits at a handy writing desk. His eyes narrow._ MEEKO Hey, what’s this? \*SLOW PAN - To the object that has appeared on his desk… a strange book, bound in what is surely not human skin. The sigil on its cover begins to glow. SMASH CUT TO: Credits\* * * * The game is over! Town, including Meeko (a peasant redshirt), Lightfoot (The Virginal Beauty), and Babale (The Second Witch) has won. Congratulations, and thanks to all for playing. Sorry for the rash of confusion and difficulty that happened toward the end of the game; my son came much earlier than I’d expected and it threw all of my timelines into disarray. I hope folks had some fun! ---

I don’t think that is what Meeko was referring to. But regardless, I think doing so was a successful gambit actually. It helped flush out both third parties which, was my intent.
