Mirror went over her notes again. Someone else was going to die, and she was determined to find another killer before it happened. Suddenly, a knock on her door startled her. She put down her notebook and looked through the peephole. She gasped in horror as the lynch mob began pounding on the door. Frantic, she looked around. Her cabin offered no other way of escape. She was doomed. Sobbing, she knew her end had come. The lynch mob kicked down the door and grabbed the innocent investigator and hauled her into the hall. Mirror tried to tell them that there had been a mistake, that she was innocent, but she was too afraid to speak and the mob was too bloodthirsty to have listened anyway. They had reached the airlock. Mirror was roughly shoved onto the floor, where her head cracked against the hard steel. She shuddered once, then lay still. There was no need to open the airlock, for Mirror’s slight body lay slumped on the floor, dead from terror and her head injury. (Good going, guys, you just killed the investigator.) ---

It should have been a peaceful death. A syringe loaded with straight morphine. But percypercy had fought. The doctor was not prepared to accept death yet, not at the hands of thugs. They had grinned when they found the ready supply of drugs in her (supposedly) bulletproof safe. One gun with a silencer had opened it and spelled her death. When her body was found with the syringe still hanging out of the vein, it could almost have been ruled a suicide if they hadn’t left the room in shambles. Percypercy, the doctor, has been killed by the mafia. ---

[completely OOC] I just wanted to remind everyone that it’s normal to let the person currently being voted by a bandwagon ROLECLAIM before you lynch them. If you find yourself being bandwagoned, it’s fine to try and talk your way out of it without revealing, or to distract the bandwagon by accusing someone else, or any one of a number of options… but you hurt the town if you don’t reveal. Even if the town doesn’t believe you.[/OOC] ---
