open means all players know what roles are in play
simple means the roles will be very straightforward and plain (cop, doctor, godfather, etc)

Having just read through Storytellers last game involving werewolves and townies, I confess I am tempted to try playing.
And if this is, as indicated, based on the original, I would be very interested.
I haven’t heard of this game until I read said thread so I hope patience for newbies will be in play.

don’t worry Jack, this style of game will be over before you know it - I’m thinking about running the game at around 7 players total, so a game should only last about 3 Days or one week.
in fact, it looks like we’ve got 7 players expressing interest, so I’ll get my shit in order and start an official sign-up/game thread tonight

In that case count me in.
Sounds like this will be a simpler and faster version of the thread I read through by Storyteller. Which would be a good start for a Newbie.
Please just make the rules clear as I wasn’t 100% sure what was going on at times in the above mentioned thread. Then I guess I never read the PMs etc.
Looking forward to getting into it.
