**DUSK, DAY FIVE** _Y’know you guys, there’s a heck of a view from the gallows. I can see my house from here!_, he shouted, just before the trapdoor opened. It wasn’t actually his house. It was, in fact, the back of an old public restroom that was now mostly a home to rats and hipsters. But no one had the heart to tell him. All things considered, that was probably kindest. **Prof. Pepperwinkle,** who was a Townsperson, has been lynched. They weren’t thrilled, of course, but given the massive success of the previous Night, they stumbled home less disheartened than they might otherwise have been. One among them did not fall directly to sleep as the others did; he went instead to his basement, where a small shrine had been erected. The shrine was surrounded by candles and incense, and at its center was a stone idol in the perfect shape of an upraised middle finger. But tonight, a package had been placed next to the shrine. It was large and oddly shaped, with curious protuberances. Our protagonist puzzled and puzzled over the package. It looked like nothing he had ever seen. He knew it would be better, wiser, to leave it - to leave the basement altogether - but his curiosity had always been his chief problem. Cautiously, he tore away the paper. _There you are!_ cried a strange and friendly voice, and then everything was bullets. In the end, the Molotov Cocktail tossed through the basement window an hour later was essentially pointless, though it did eliminate most of the evidence, and all of the candles. **sachertorte** , who was The First Deacon of the Cult of Lutha, has been Day Killed * * * Night Five begins here at will end at 3:00PM Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, February 14. Sunny got killed, and if anyone went back and found that breadcrumb it would be trouble for Sach and Crys. So I started to think the explanation was provided to distance Sach from Sunny. For that situation to occur there can be no more than 12 town, ignoring other 3P, that brings the game total to 25. Not too far away. In Post #142 above, he unvotes Prof in order to vote for Prof. I thought it was odd at the time, like he had already forgotten who he voted or he unvoted just to add me to his list of suspects, but now I think it was him ensuring his message would get across. In addition to this, the votes toDay fall in line with my theory and the people doubting Pleo’s results, while they make sense, also fall on the list of people involved. Obviously it was way off, as both Sach and Prof flipped non-mafia. I’m a little dissapointed in Prof’s flip, but glad that I can eliminate the theory all together. I wasn’t picking up SNF and Raven on my Scumdar until the theory started bouncing around in my head. With Sach flipping as claimed, I’m dead set against lynching Crys. Seems Mafia is ahead enough that they are finally taking care of potential issues. I say we let them worry about the cult now that we know that their claims have at least not been a scum ploy. ---
