I had wondered that in a game this large that it might be unusual enought so that LTL would work significantly better, since there would be a bigger pool for Scum to lurk in, including a 1000+ post count. This appears not to have been the case. I thought it might be a more efficient strategy for D1 and D2, since that is typically a crapshoot. Town did lynch Town both Days (and D3) anyway. Last Night gave the first real information that LtL wasn’t going to work significantly. Up until then I still had hope. ---

But you’d already more or less concluded LtL is a crapshoot? And why would it be less of a crapshoot in this game than in a normal one? Why would size make the odds of hitting scum/non-town via LtL rise in a bigger game? You also concluded with, people are gonna lurk anyway, 1000+ a Day or not. Also, town lynch town all the time, better just accept that! None of these arguments make sense! 😕 ---

Nevermind me recentpost. It is a time zone thing and may I add a very [del]lame [/del] scum-like thing to pounce on. FOS \*\* PaulWiaG \*\* You have been vocal- interesting even. Supporting of some. ToDay after a threefer of Scum kills you post “pouty”\* and this time stamp idea is bad. the time \* zone \* thing didn’t occur to you? not as sane as I would expect given your prior posts… - hey, that is how I read it. ---

It occured to me that if Sunny had breadcrumbed so early in the game and turned out to be scum, that severely undermines Sach’s own breadcrumbs. I thought it out and it made sense to me at the time. It would require that Crys, Sach, and Sunny are on the same scum team, so Mafia. These three and two others would breadcumb something related to the occult so that later if they thought it viable, they could claim cultist and hopefully escape the noose. Sunny got killed, and if anyone went back and found that breadcrumb it would be trouble for Sach and Crys. So I started to think the explanation was provided to distance Sach from Sunny. From there I started thinking that your idea about the cultists having a kill might have been you floating the idea in order for them to gain cover if they are seen by a watcher visiting someone who turns up dead, it would look bad, but doesn’t mean they aren’t non-winstealing 3P. So yeah, I went down a twisted little rabbit hole there until I realized that Sunny had posted that before roles were sent out, so there is no way it could be a breadcrumb. I was gearing up to go look for more cult breadcrumbs when the confusion with SNF happened and that’s when I figured it out. ---

As to the tone change, I’ve been enjoying the game, but I am super frustrated. Look at the post counts for each thread so far. Since I joined the game I have been the top poster. Maybe TexCat is right and I am being a distraction. My approach to the game was not working. I pushed for Brewha’s lynch and Diggit’s for three Days. I thought for sure that Sunny was town. I thought didn’t see any of the now known scum as being scum before their death, except for Boozy, but I was SURE Diggit was scum and I wasn’t sure Boozy was. I don’t like that I am so off target and my posts make up ~10% of the threads. ---

I wish I had read the N0 thread, there is a lot of general strategy and game theory discussion that I never read and makes the lack of it being talked about now make more sense.
