If this is another gasterd game where we have to lynch the mods…i will be very cross. Very cross indeed.

With just one Night death it looks like the vig was deactivated last Night (yes, I’m assuming Drain was the scum target).

ToeJam was the obvious vig target last Night. It looks like Batman was switched off, so either

1. ToeJam’s team hold the Batman switch
2. They don’t hold the switch, but instead used their one time power to turn all switches OFF.
3. The other scum team hold the Batman switch. They switched Batman off to use up toDay’s lynch.

(Yes, I am regarding Toejam as scum)

If a townie holds the switch, I can’t see that they would have pressed it last Night. Indeed, I can’t see a pro town reason for the other switch holder not to come forward. So I think it likely that the other Batman switch is in scum hands.

\*\*Because of my contradicting the rule that, again, I think should have been pulled, I’ll clarify for everyone. Yes, Sario used his final spell/charge and, as is in the public role pm, “Once you use your 7th charge YOU DIE. So, be careful.”

That is all that has happened. No speculation on his death needed.

And no, this isn’t a gasterd game.\*\* 🙂

You see why I like to annoy the Mods? :dubious: Sometimes they deserve a good 20-30 PMs in the night. Come on, ' **Loth**! You’re killing Us here!

```auto
Why unecessarily? Batman has shown that he/she prefers lynch contenders. If said lynch contenders were town, or scum of a different flavor as the switch holder, they would have let Toejam die. Or leave them to shoot a 3rd party. Or to pump round after round into the vastly superiorly sized town pool.
I would advise caution against assuming the Vig prefer lynch contenders. So far 1 NK of a lynch contender by an unknown party does NOT make a Vig with a "preference for lynch contenders". It could be a setup for a Scum trying to pull that claim. If we allow such credibility to be given for NKs.
```

> Also we should keep in mind… **Drain Bead** was suspicious of a few people before getting killed in nondescript fashion - **TotalLost** , **BillMC** , and **ProfP**. So, he/she may have been on to something and struck a nerve. Also, all three of these were among the last to jump onto the \*\*brewha \*\*bandwagon, making a pretty safe vote at the time.

I will also say, I felt DrainGead was being the most helpful for MY case on Day 2. He actually was one of the few other people who was calling out the last min bussing on me as being very odd, and someone who i def. wish was not dead because he was already starting to analyze the Voting patterns and call people out.
☹

Option 2 is that **ToeJam** is AUBatman. so Scum turned him off.

I don't know either way- but it is an option.

For what it's worth.
I'm Not Batman*.
Nor am I the Vig.
:shrug: WIFOM. But yeah. Though it does kinda look that way. So if you're scum, Maybe I AM the Vig.... Ooooh. :cool:

Your VT gambit seems to be douchy to the mods and an attempt to take the heat off yourself. It makes no sense at all. I think you are scum of some variety.

- Point Taken. My apologies, but it def. affected me in a big way.
- That said, Can i help with reducing your suspicions or not so much?
–I do agree it’s douchey to the Mods. I disagre to taking heat off myself (as it seems to have the opposite effect. And to be fair- I figured i’d have the MOST heat on Day 3). But WHY do you think I’m scum? Is it just the VT thing? My play style? Anything I can help with?

Fair point. It is tough to extrapolate from 1 data point. However many have already stated that it is a common vig tactic. And being a large reunion game, that statement has a lot of experience behind it.

Wow Sario, that’s quite the way to go out. I’m sorry you felt it was necessary.

An idea just occurred to me that might be a worthwhile pursuit, and would potentially give a lot of information regarding toejam.

There’s at least a reasonable possibility that Batman would have targeted toejam last night. There is furthermore a reasonable possibility that one of the scum teams holds Batman’s other switch, meaning they can turn him off at will. Together, this indicates at least the possibility that scum turned off Batman to protect toejam. The question then becomes is there any way to confirm or otherwise pull more information out of this situation?

What if Batman were to claim today, and tell us who he or she targeted last night? If it was indeed toejam, that would be a strong indication that the logic presented above is true, at which point lynching toejam is extremely compelling as it is very likely he is in fact scum.

The downside of such a plan of course is that Batman is now exposed. But how much of a downside is it really? If scum do in fact hold the other switch, Batman isn’t really any better than vanilla at this point, and won’t stop being so until/unless the other switch holder dies. And since we have clearly seen that switches are not revealed on death, the only people who will know when Batman is unleashed again will be the scum team that holds the switch. Even Batman won’t know for sure, since there’s no way for him or her to know if the target died to him or her, or if it was just coincidence.

Thoughts?

Also… since I know the 3rd parties aren’t lynch targets and scum can wait for the wagon to form and not make noise since I’m the loudest lynch target right now- just a reminder to please continue to look for Scum or to ask me questions so that I can help convince you of my Towniness.

If you guys are going to intend to lynch me, can you then look for target #2 as well? Or a backup? or is this just me going up to the noose?

If I go to the Noose, can someone who actually HAS the town’s interest at heart attempt a WOW or some analysis of me? Please don’t blindly just try to lynch me and waste this Day’s worth of conversation just because I’m the easiest. There’s plenty to be learned from the Vote Counts and the bussing of me (And for TF or others who may complain that “why aren’t you doing it then?” my rebuttal:

1. I’m busy and trying to post after work.
2. Because If i do my own WOW or analysis of the Votes, I’m going to get called out as inherently biased and trying to save my own neck. So hence my request (I was going to ask \*\*DrainBead \*\*to do this honestly actually).

I think this is a terrible idea. It exposes the Vig, and we’ve already lost our Wizard. It basically allows the Scum access to more power roles and gains nothing in terms of credibility to save me.

If you’re the Vig, don’t claim just for me. I’d rather hang, than you out yourself.

Has shown the they prefer lynch contenders? Based on one kill? That’s not an M.O. it’s one anecdote. You may be right and the vig might have shot at TJ last Night, but I still think scum would have hit that switch no matter what. If I was scum I would be pushing for use the switch every Night.

You did get to the point where you just said, I think everyone should claim, and then modified to, well all VTs should claim. I think. Fine, that’s something we can all debate. Couching it all in third party references and expecting everyone to bring the same thing to the party is naive at best. I could be all Spinal Tap and Monty Python and a few other things and only speak in that metaphor, and we wouldn’t get very far. No, batman should not claim. What good would that do? If he says he targeted **Toejam** or anybody else it just places a target on his back. Hopefully we will eventually lynch the other switch holder and batman will again be empowered.

I’m sure many of the 17\*\* brewha\*\* voters in the vote count above were Town, but I’m betting scum are overrepresented there, and I imagine I will be voting within that group Today. I am especially suspicious of those who hung back at first and then jumped on\*\* brewha\*\* when the\*\* crys\*\* wagon looked like a serious threat: **raventhief, paulwhoisaghost, Khameleon, Lakai, Hooker Chemical, Meeko, and Toejam.**

Yep… I said all those things… yep… I was wrong… if I was scum I would have had a pretty good reason to push the brewha wagon along… it’s a really good case. And a little obvious. I pushed for Brewha’s lynch because he lied. And I still stand by my logic. I was wrong, but I disagree with your assessment of my arguments. The only way a townie holding the batswitch wouldn’t have counterclaimed Brewha is if they realized it was a ploy and didn’t think Brewha had the other switch. That, or, you know, Brewha is the townie holding the Batswitch who claimed unprovoked and lied and then got quite offensive when I would question his motives… all of which reinforced my confidence that we had scum in the noose.

But yeah, I was wrong…

And my concern with the rush onto Toejam had nothing to do with Toejam as my concern for any vote swing that happens in the last 12 or even 24 hours of the Day. It’s either chaotic and bad for town or coordinated which is awfully hard to do when there isn’t someone openly organizing the troops. Add to that, it felt a lot like people jumping off the wagon just before the finish line so they aren’t caught on the vote record and I didn’t like it one bit. What is hard to understand about that?

NETA answering my own Question. IF a Town owns the other switch they should claim first- Hear me out Scum could kill the switch. but that would leave Batman in the ON position for the rest of the game. If there is no Town claim then the vig can out themselves ( after a bit… any sense making here?)

I forgot to warn you that the vig was out of commission? When did it become my job to make sure you aren’t missing obvious facts of the game? Nice smudge Thing Fish.
