I believe it has been decided that we will post the Town and Scum role PMs in a google Doc that Mahaloth is hosting after we have sent out all the PMs. In which case I am bringing to a close the ability for those last unconfirmed players to get into the game. Sorry guys. ---

As to strategy, I think the hardest part of this game early is going to just be keeping everyone straight. The pages are going to likely multiply at a rapid rate. After an 8 hour work day there could easily be a dozen pages to pore over. I usually suspect anyone who makes reference to their “notes,” but I think some kind of notes are going to be absolutely necessary. ---

I used to keep a detailed spreadsheet for each and every game. I haven’t decided yet whether I’m going to even attempt that here, or if I just want to fly by the seat of my pants. ---

I’m considering Lynch the Lurker as a strategy for such a large group. I think Lynch the Loud is probobably a very bad idea. I can’t see No Lynch. Mass claim is right out. ---

We know; 55 players 14 Scum X# 3rd parties Or am I reading it wrong? I see that \*\* ToeJam \*\* appears to be thinking “Scum” is Wolves and Mafia. I had not thought that way when I first read the opening … but ok so then we have 41 that are either Town or 3P . - I am restating what \*\* ToeJam \*\* surmised= I know . bashing it about as it were \* the wolf/mafia ratio may not be balanced in numbers ( powers could effect that ) but given their win- cons odds are they are. ---

**IMPORTANT MODERATOR NOTE:** We will be adding a brief addendum to the official rules. Specifically, rule 1 under “Basic Setup” should now read as follows (additions underlined below): This is a semi-open setup. All of the Town and Scum roles and win conditions will be public knowledge at the beginning of the game. Importantly, there are no secret or hidden elements to any Town or Scum role powers or win conditions. There may be secret or hidden _game mechanics_ known to individual Town or Scum players that are not public knowledge. Chronos or Idle Thoughts, if either if you feels inclined to edit these changes into the actual rules post, I’d be delighted, but I’m not sure if that’s kosher per forum rules. ---
