Sign-Up for **Mafia: Mafia in Spaaaaaaace** here! Mafia Game Basics This game is populated by Townies(Towns People), Mafia/Cult, and Special Action People. Townies(or regular people) have a problem: They are living in a place that is infested by Mafia/Cult, and need to get rid of them by lynching. Townies must vote to lynch a player during the day, hopefully a Mafia player, resulting in that player dying. Game starts at Day one with a person murdered by the Mafia. Once the Townies have reached a majority vote, the lynch occurs. Then it shifts to night, where it is the Mafia’s and the Special Action People’s turns to do something. Mafia know who is Mafia, but none of the other roles. They vote for a person to kill, majority rules. It switches back to day then. Cult Members/Serial or Lone Killers behave like Mafia, except in the case of a Lone Killer, no voting is needed. Special Action People have jobs that grant them abilities in the game such as Police(investigate a player for being Mafia), Bodyguard(protects someone one night, must rest the next night) or Double(my idea, a Mafia member acts as a double for another player, giving a vote(and only a vote, a double can’t use any abilities the regular player has) that would aid the mafia, the person doesn’t know why they voted for that person and they cannot indicate their vote was influenced by Mafia. If they died, so did the double.). You can indicate anyone of being Mafia/Cult/Serial Killer, including saying you investigated them, but you need proof to solidly back it up. Bah, I refuse to play this game unless it’s Werewolf. It’s a much better flavor than Mafia, IMHO. I mean, since when do you lynch gangsters? 😉 ---

Can we make amusing deaths for those killed by the mafia? Like, “ **XWalrus2** was killed in his sleep last night by a pack of rabid chipmunks placed in his bedsheets. We all mourn his passing.” ---

I’ve never heard of **Mafia** before. So, you play in this site, but e-mail the deaths to you? How do know whether you yourself are Mafia or not? Do you, the GameMaster give out assignments? I’m afraid my cluelessness is strong today. ---
