So, I’ve realised that I really haven’t been fulfilling the only service people really expect of me at nights (you folks seem to have your own knack of raiding the shelves without me): concocting new and disgusting drinks! So in memoriam of dotchan: _The Death By Irony, T2 Edition_ In a champagne flute: half ounce, Midori: For the sweetness of her youth, and the whole Japanese/anime deal one dash, sloe gin: Slow, ironic because quickness with which we lynch her every time two dashes, angustora bitters: In memory of bitter old storyteller, whom she replaced Fill to the top with champagne: Because I need to get rid of these cases of champagne before the robots kill me. ---

As the night broke, a little later than usual, the crowd started to move to dotchan’s room, not wanting to see who was missing. They looked, but there was nothing unusual about it. She was vanilla town. With that out of the way, they started to look. Boozy Squid was absent. They started to go to his room, and saw him dead in the hall. The prone form of John Connor was propped there, stab wounds up and down his body. A scant few went into his room to see if the tape recorder had caught anything…the rest backed away. His room was mostly empty as well, with the tape recorder returned to its place (how’d that happen?), and Rysto pressed play. First, there’s the sound of footsteps. “Oh, here’s NAF’s room. A little out of the way…”. A knock. The door creaks. His voice, again, “Busy day, huh. Everything going around. You seem rested, though.” “Well,” NAF responded, in a low, quiet voice, “it’s been a peaceful night, at least.” “Sorry, Mr. NAF. Does this mean you’re not scum?” said Boozy Squid. “Um… I suppose so. Will you pour me a drink when you get this Boozy? Make it something tall and cold on the rocks. NO JAGER! Thanks.” was his reply. Then, again, were footsteps, then clinking glass, then pouring, and sips. The recording goes, and goes, and goes, and only a few drunken mumbles are heard. Then more footsteps. “Bye, NAF! See you in a couple hours!” More footsteps. Then someone running. There’s a chilling, deathly voice, that only says, “Goodnight.” Then stabbing sounds. SCHINK! SHLUNK! A scream. And the tape recorder peters out. Zeriel vomited. The tiny group returned to the main group, who was huddled around another door, Pollux Oil’s door. Almost Human says, “He’s dead. And he was an ordinary scientist.” “Oh.” They walked into the molten metal room. Someone vomited again. Day 5. ---
