Believe me, I’m very uncertain. As far as I know, today is our last chance at screwing up. We would need a perfect game after that to win. Considering our game so far, I think the chance of that is very low. ---

In a very short while, I’ll most likely be dead and revealed as Town, and then I can only hope you get that very close second look I think you deserve. The pen does indeed have a long reach from the grave, and all that. This will probably come down to how much the rest of Town trusts your investigation. You very nearly bought it earlier, and for very good reason, I believe. As just one example, I strongly urge everyone left to reread the area around 461-633 where you flip-flop so many times over **Septimus** and **Plum** I almost got dizzy rereading it. Guess where you finally landed? There’s rethinking one’s position, and then there is just sowing confusion. I think the latter. Take another look at **Plum’s** EOD response at 655, too. “Exciting day!” Indeed. That’s bugged me for some time now. Good luck, Town… ---

[Out of Game Content] \*I’ve said all I can I guess, so I’m off to vent some frustration at a video game my kids got me hooked on, “Monster Hunter”, a Japanese, well, monster hunting game. Crazy game. Hard. One of the upper-tier creatures in MH3U (the version I am playing) is called a Zinogre, an electrified wolf-like monster that spews lighting and blight-inducing fireballs at you (the hunter) whilst simultaneously trying to claw you apart or triple ground-pound you with its paws.\* [/OoGC] Yep, sure feels like this game to me… 😃 Off to the (video) wolf hunt while fate, that cruel mistress, renders sentence… ---

**DUSK, DAY FOUR** \*Unlike the days that had come before, it was a tightly contested race to the noose on that fourth day. In the end, two candidates were left standing: **sangfroid** and **Sario.** Quietly but passionately they argued their respective cases, and the gathered assemblage couldn’t begin to decide which way to swing. Gradually, though, as the sun set, the tide seemed to turn. **Sario** proved a powerful presence, speaking strongly and confidently. At his words, more than a few in the mob began to nod sagely, convinced. **sangfroid** was overmatched; his death seemed inevitable. He faced it with… well, you know. **Sario** allowed himself a relieved smirk; it was clear that he had cheated the reaper on this day. Which is why it came as such a surprise when they decided to hang him anyway. As they slid the noose around his neck, that neck seemed somehow to swell beneath it. He drew himself up to his full height – had he always been eight feet tall, they wondered, or was he growing? – and effortlessly tossed the mob away. It was clear that Sario would not go quietly. He bared his teeth – fangs, if the truth be known – and grinned at the rising moon. He lunged forward, yellowing eyes fixing on the nearest innocent. He probably should have taken the noose off first.\* **Sario,** who was the Alpha Wolf, has been lynched * * * Night Four begins here, and will end on Wedneday, August 19 at 12:00PM Eastern time. ---
