No lynch is clearly the way to go. Finding the single mafioso is going to be like looking for a needle in a haystack. There is a MUCH better chance we will accidentally kill a power role. I am so psyched for this game. Iā€™ve decided I much prefer village-setting, complete-with-power-roles Mafia setups. You-Solve-It was a bit too hardcore for me. Cā€™mon, letā€™s hang someone! ---

I twigged the townā€™s suspicions and they got lucky. We could too. Itā€™s better I think if our killing is somehow directed. ---

This is the first, and probably last, time youā€™ll ever hear me say this, but I think No Lynch is the best bet for Today. I believe scum are going to try to recruit Tonight, to keep from having an instaloss, if you will. Hopefully, weā€™ll wake up Tomorrow with double the chance of catching Mafia, and there wonā€™t be anybody dead. (Which is kind of why a Night start would have made more sense, game-play wise.) If we can create it artificially, I see no reason why we shouldnā€™t. ---

I want to win legitimately. 2. A No Lynch costs us nothing. 3. The only players that have information about anyone but themselves are the Masons. Thus any slip of extra information is going to hurt the Town. 4. Thereā€™s a 96% chance weā€™ll lynch a Townie. Why give the Mafia a freebie? 5. Thereā€™s large chance weā€™ll focus on a power role and force a claim a Day One. Itā€™s a risk we can avoid. A No Lynch is the only rational course for Day One. ---

Possibly - though it really depends on what happens early in the game. If the Vigilante or Boss arenā€™t checked early on, I can see the game moving pretty quickly. I wanted to keep in on a week schedule to reduce confusion about when the day or night end, and to make sure I can be available to promptly handle dawn and dusk.
